This week was awesome. We saw the weez on Tuesday and they were sweet. They played tons of their old songs, which was awesome because I love them. They came out in these white jumpsuits and Rivers had this goofy looking sock-thing on his head. Then they took off their jumpsuits and were wearing bright red track suits with lightning bolts on them. It was just such a fun show and they did a hootenanny and that was way fun, too. Angels and Airwaves opened for them and they were cool, too. I have been waiting to see Weezer since I missed my chance back in high school and it was definitely all I could have ever hoped for. Also funny, I told my kids about the concert and taught them to make the weezer sign and one boy said, "Yeah, I've heard of weezer, they have Ozzy Osbourne, right?"
The next day I took the gre, since I'm trying to get into grad school and I did alright so hopefully the rest of my application checks out and I will be starting school again in January. It was really cute because my kids were all excited for me to help me study and take my test and they all started cheering when they found out that I passed. Then Thursday night I did this literacy training at my school for parents. We had a great turnout--about 80 people and everything went really well. Tay and I both ended up getting really sick this week and so this weekend we have pretty much just tried to catch up on some sleep.

Yeah! Glad to hear that you are doing good and having fun. How is your class this year? Your team teacher? Do you have an aid again? I am so happy to hear that you are going on with your education. I would love to do that sometime, no joke, but when you throw kids in the mix it gets a little complicated. First we will get Drew through school, and then we will see. BUT GOOD FOR YOU! Let me know how it is. What are you going to study? Do you want to specialize in anything? We miss handing out with you guys! Do you ever check Brittney A.'s blog? She is due to have a baby any day now. Cool!
That sounds fun Destiny! I'm glad you finally got to see them in concert...I have yet to myself. Where are you planning on doing grad school? The U? In education? I need details:) Congratulations on passing!

You have been Weezer obssessed for as long as I've known you! I'm glad you got to go to one of their concerts. I'll bet you were in heaven. Congrats on the GRE! Like everyone else, I want details about what you're planning on studying.
that is so rockin' awesome!!! almost as rockin'as we were on our guitars! ha ha! we definitely will have to play that again. i need to work on my skills! thanks again for picking me up to come hang out with you! always brightens my day when i get to see you!
